Summer Plum Smash

The magic of Dutch Courage Barrel Aged Genever is its versatility. Its complex botanical beauty is met with the warming whisky cask characteristics making this spirit the most adaptable base spirit in both whisky and gin cocktails. Between the "Bee Sting" (Gin-fluence) and the "Summer Plum Smash" (Whisky Vibes) - We give you: Dutch Courage two ways!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Dutch Courage
  • 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 oz Plum Syrup*
  • 2 Dashes Rootside bitters Aromatic-ish Bitters

 

Method

Combine all ingredients into an ice-filled cocktail shaker, and shake until well combined. Strain into a rocks glass over ice, and garnish with a plum wedge and lemon peel. Play around with different variations of plum! From deep purple to golden orange, their juice will change the colour of the cocktail in beautiful ways.
