The Product

This is the first release in our new Elemental Series, where we break down our award-winning Ancient Grains Whisky into its component parts to explore the characteristics of each individual grain (einkorn, emmer, spelt, khorasan), and release each as their own whisky expression.

Einkorn has a rich and storied past that dates back thousands of years. It is believed to be the earliest cultivated grain in human history can be traced back to 30,000 years ago. DEVINE’s Einkorn Whisky is a testament to our dedication to distilling innovation and historical authenticity, and we are so proud to share this new expression while simultaneously delivering a taste experience that is unrivalled in today's whisky landscape.

The Process

Produced from locally grown einkorn and malted barley, distilled twice, and matured in first-fill ex-Ancient Grains quarter casks for more than three years.

Tasting Notes

Our Einkorn Whisky showcases the flavour of this unique grain, with the essence of the raw grain and dark bready husk, balanced by butterscotch, sponge toffee & baked apple.

The Einkorn Whisky Experience
"Harvest on the Farm"
A warm apple crisp baked with recently harvested orchard apples cools on the open windowsill of the farmhouse kitchen. Sweet aromas of caramel and sponge toffee waft in with the salty fall breeze, and carried with it, are warm notes of freshly harvested barley and crisp dried leaves from the fields and forest below. Before you know it, your palate will be overjoyed with these same flavours of baked apple & caramelized sugary oats.

How to Sip

We like to sip this neat, with no ice, and served with freshly baked einkorn shortbread.
