Manhattans are usually made with rye so it's really cool to try them with a barrel aged gin. The DEVINE Dutch Courage is barrel aged in our Ancient Grains ‘Young’ Whisky barrels, so you still get that peppery spice note that is a stand out flavour profile of rye whisky. It's a drier version of the classic Manhattan using dry vermouth as well as sweet vermouth allowing for a lighter, more summery kind of Manhattan.


  • 1.5oz DEVINE Dutch Courage
  • 0.5oz Esquimalt Sweet Vermouth
  • 0.5oz Marrow Vermouth
  • 1 Tsp Cherry Syrup
  • 1 Cherry for garnish


Stir on ice until diluted (Around 15 seconds), then strain into a chilled coupe. Serve with a maraschino cherry.
