Spiced Orange Daiquiri

What better drink to riff on than everyone's favourite rum cocktail, the Daiquiri. The spiced orange honey syrup makes this a winter-friendly crowd pleaser, but is still deliciously refreshing enough to enjoy year round.
- 2 oz DEVINE Honey Shine Silver
- 0.5 oz spiced orange honey syrup*
- 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
- Garnish options: pineapple leaves, maraschino cherries, or grated fresh nutmeg
Whack everything in a shaker. Top with ice and give her a good shake til the tin is icy cold. Double strain in to a chilled coupe and garnish with a lime wheel and grated nutmeg.
*Spiced Orange Honey Syrup
- 300g raw local honey
- 200g fresh squeezed OJ
- Pinch of nutmeg powder and cinnamon powder
Place everything in a pot, bring to a boil then simmer gently for two minutes. Strain through a fine sieve and leave to cool.
