While our usual favourite way to enjoy our Glen Saanich is neat in a Glencairn, we're all about expanding our horizons. So Glen Saanich, meet the 2023 Pantone Color of the Year: Viva Magenta! We've used nature's most notorious magenta food: BEETS, to lend a joyful hue, subtle sweetness, and new depths to this DEVINE favourite.
- 1 oz Fresh Beetroot Juice
- 3/4 oz Honey Simple Syrup
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 3 slices Fresh Ginger
- 1/4 oz Glen Saanich Single Malt, for float
With the handle of a wooden spoon, muddle ginger to a pulp in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add 2 oz Glen Saanich, beetroot juice, simple syrup, lemon juice, and ice. Shake for 15 seconds and double strain into glass.
Slowly pour remaining 1/4 oz of Glen Saanich over a bar spoon on top of the cocktail. Garnish with rosemary or lemon peel for added pop of colour.
