Kiss from a Rose

Inspired by roses, this sophisticated pink rum cocktail is floral, refreshing, and delightfully complex. The combo of the Cocchi Americano and dry vermouth give us the just right level of sweet/bitter combo that will have you singing "Ba-ya-ya, ba-da-da-da-da-da" as you sip on this silky smooth number featuring our Honey Shine Silver. 

Ingredients

  • 1.5oz Honey Shine Silver
  • .25oz Cocchi Americano
  • .5oz Dry vermouth
  • .25 Acidified Floral Simple syrup*
  • Flower garnish

Method

Stir on ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a dried rose.

 

*Acidified Floral Simple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 500g cane sugar
  • 500ml water
  • 30ml rose water
  • 15g linden flowers
  • 10g dried rose
  • 40g citric acid

    Method

    In a small pot, bring the sugar and water to a boil and simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Leave to cool. Stir in the citric acid then add all the other ingredients. Leave in the fridge to infuse for one week. Strain through a coffee filter (this will take some time), then cover and store in the fridge.
