Hot 'Honey' Buttered Rum

Butter makes everything better. This winter warmer dates back to the 1600's and makes excellent use of either our DEVINE Honey Shine Amber or Black Bear Spiced Honey Shine 'rums'. Best enjoyed with a cinnamon stick and a dash of your favourite baking spice with your favourite book. #cozyvibes

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Honey Shine Amber or Black Bear Spiced Honey Shine
  • 1 tbsp room temp butter
  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp honey (hot tip: try Country Bee's Hot Pepper Infused Honey)
  • 1 dash cinnamon
  • 1 dash all spice
  • 1 dash nutmeg
  • 1 dash cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 oz boiling water (hot tip: boil extra for warming your mug)
  • Cinnamon stick

    Method  

    Muddle butter, sugar, honey and spices until smooth in the bottom of your favourite tea cup. Add rum, then top with hot water & stir with cinnamon stick.
