Cold brew Negroni

Level of Complexity: Home Bartender Friendly

For one week of September, bars and restaurants around the globe will come together to celebrate this classic cocktail all in support of Slow Food’s mission to foster a more equitable and sustainable world of food and beverage.

This next one was an experiment gone right. I mean what could go wrong with Cold brew and gin??? Plus we’re always looking for an excuse to showcase our former employee Brad Scisson’s delicious Mile Zero Coffee with our spirits

Ingredients

  • ½ oz Mile Zero cold-brew-coffee*
  • ½ oz Campari*
  • 1 oz Genever
  • 1 oz Esquimalt Rosso Vermouth

Method

Build all ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice and mix until well chilled. Pour into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with orange peel.

* For a bartender's twist, use 1oz of Campari infused cold brew. To make, fill a tight sealing vessel halfway with coffee grounds, and then fill the jar with Campari. Steep for as little as 10 minutes or as long as overnight, then strain the grounds out with a coffee filter.
